The Nuclear Star Cluster and Nuclear Stellar Disk of the Milky Way: Different Stellar Populations and Star Formation Histories

The Milky Way's nuclear stellar disc (NSD) and star cluster (NSC) are the main features of Galactic centre. Nevertheless, their observation is hampered by extreme source crowding high extinction. Hence, relation formation scenario not fully clear yet. We aim at detecting populations from NSC NSD along line-of-sight towards NSC, assess whether they have different histories. analysed colour-magnitude diagram, $K_s$ vs. $H-K_s$, a region $8.2'\times2.8'$ centred on detected two groups with extinctions. studied red clumps to find associated each populations. obtained that stars correspond found significantly double clump for population, in agreement previous work, whereas presents more complex structure well fitted three Gaussian features. created extinction maps analyse variation between groups. high-extinction layer varies smaller scales (arc-seconds), there difference $A_{K_s}\sim0.6$\,mag both layers. Finally, we distance compatible centre distance, some evidence slightly closer ($\sim360\pm200$\,pc).
